Vital Nyama is a carefully balanced mineral supplement providing an excellent supply of essential minerals and trace elements for beef cattle. Forages are often deficient in trace elements, especially when dry. Physiological processes such as muscle, bone and hoof formation require a consistent supply of trace elements; supplementation of these elements will maximise growth and productivity. Rumen bacteria also need minerals to grow and cannot utilise the diet efficiently without them. This is important in beef cattle as improved rumen function allows for better feed intake and grass utilisation which leads to better weight gains in steers and also better fertility in heifers and cows.
